Investment Management
Your Money, Working for You. Not for a Salesperson
Most investment advice you’ll get from a commission-based advisor is shaped, at least partly, by what pays them the most. I don’t work that way. My only compensation comes from you, so my only job is to find what actually works for your situation.
I manage investments on a discretionary and non-discretionary basis, depending on what works best for you. Either way, every decision is guided by your goals, your risk tolerance, and your timeline, not a sales quota.
What Investment Management Includes
Portfolio Analysis
If you already have investments, we start by understanding what you have. What’s working, what’s costing you more than it should, and whether your current mix actually matches your goals and risk tolerance.
Portfolio Construction
Building a portfolio isn’t about chasing hot stocks or trying to time the market. It’s about building a diversified strategy that aligns with your goals, timeline, and comfort with risk, then sticking to it.
What I Work With
- Stocks and bonds
- Mutual funds
- Exchange-traded funds (ETFs)
- Alternative investments—including REITs, precious metals, and select crypto
Ongoing Management & Review
Markets change. Life changes. Your portfolio should be reviewed regularly to make sure it’s still aligned with where you’re headed. I monitor your investments and rebalance when it makes sense, without churning your account to generate fees.

What It Costs
Ongoing investment management is 0.5% of assets under management annually—and I don’t start charging until your account reaches $25,000. Most firms reserve this rate for accounts over $1 million. Smaller accounts often pay 1.0–2.0%.
For one-time advice or a portfolio review, I charge $130/hour, billed in half-hour increments.
Who This Is For
- Anyone who has money invested but isn’t confident it’s in the right place
- Retirees who need their savings to generate income without taking unnecessary risk
- Working people who are ready to start investing but are not sure how
- Small business owners looking to invest their business profits
- Anyone tired of feeling like their advisor is selling them something
